Google has expanded its Pixel lineup, this time they came up with two phones PIXEL 5 and the successor of PIXEL 4 that is PIXEL 4A 5G variant. This duo was launched last night virtually where pixel 4A is just coming with a single additional feature of 5G band added to it.

Google is calling their Pixel 5 as their flagship but you would be amazed by knowing they are neither coming with snapdragon 865 or snapdragon 865+ processor but with a budget flagship processor “SNAPDRAGON 765G “ . Both of the phones are not coming to india as per the reports but the 4G variant of Pixel 4A is coming somewhere soon in india .
Google has added some exciting features in Pixel 5 that separate it from other pixel phones like – wireless charging, IP68 rating (water-resistant), OLED screen, and better protection for the screen i.e Corning gorilla glass 6.
SPECS OF GOOGLE PIXEL 5
DISPLAY - 6-inch 2340 x 1080 OLED panel in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, powered with super smooth 90hz refresh rate
PROCESSOR – It is powered with Snapdragon 765G processor, which is capable of doing heavy as well as multitasking things with ease
CAMERA –
After giving a tough competition to other flagship smartphones with just a single back at back as well as the front, but this time table has turned up because that has finally added a WIDEANGLE camera in the rear camera setup.
REAR CAMERA: –
The main sensor is coming with a 12.2 MP count with a 77-degree field of view and both optical and electronic image stabilization
The wide-angle sensor is 16 MP that shoots at a wider 107 degrees.
Of course, the camera is well capable of clicking good pictures every time you tap on the camera. Portrait Light” mode allows you to click really awesome pics in low light too.
FRONT CAMERA -
Seriously speaking don’t run towards the megapixel count and Google has proved this many times.
This time they have given punch-hole design packed with 8Mp front-facing camera.
BATTERY
The company is claiming they have added a special feature in Google Pixel 5 to outlast its 4080 mAh battery up to 48 hours. They have made a special space in the UI to have some specific apps in super power-saving mode and extending on screening time of phone up to 48 hours which is insane
They have also bundled an 18Watt charger in the box which is a fast charger
PRICING:-
Google Pixel 5 pricing starts at $699 (roughly Rs. 51,400), whereas the Google Pixel 4a 5G starts at 499 (roughly Rs. 37,000).
This time they have launched an 8Gb/128GB variant too
Looking at the specs, the pricing is a bit towards the higher side I would say. No doubt this is a capable phone but launching at this price is also not value for money where you are having a competition like Samsung and One plus. Vivo is also joining the party soon.
