MediaTek is one of the largest Chipset manufactures along with Qualcomm for smartphone and now Mediatek is all set to launch a 5G chipset in mid range smartphones network i.e Mediatek dimensity 720G 5g chipset .
A phone should not only have great specs but also a powerful chipset to perform in day to day life of a user, and this chipset is capable of doing it. This chipset is just under the Dimensity 800 and flagship chipsets like 1000 and 1000+, this states that it will surely provide better hands-on experience in the gaming field too. This chipset is mainly aiming the mid-range smartphone so that even they can become 5G compatible.
MediaTek density 720G 5G:-
This processor is made using a 7nm process with an integrated 5G modem to support dual stand by network 4G as well as 5G networks. Density 720G 5G includes two high-performance ARM Cortex – A76 cores that have been clocked at 2GHZ speed and six powerful Cortex A55 cores.
It is also capable of capturing 4k resolution videos up to 30fps. The RAM within chipset has a room for LPDDR4X RAM with storage up to 12 GB universal flash storage UFS 2.2. Density 720G 5G can support a single 64 mp camera sensor and a dual-camera setup – 20mp and 16mp lenses.
Nowadays companies are launching their phones with greater display refresh rate up to, even up to 144Hz refresh rate which we have seen in the latest phone of ASUS ROG PHONE 3, and this phone supports up to 90 Hz refresh rate along with HDR 10+ video playback to deliver an extraordinary experience to the user.
MediaTek has added a smart feature to reduce battery consumption, a 5G ultra save technology which will extend the battery life using network and content awareness intelligence to manage in real time . Furthur it supports GPS as well as NAVIC which is India’s own navigation system
Till now MediaTek hasn't stated about the phones coming with this chipset but we can expect it to be coming in mid-range segment hopefully under Rs15,000
