Playstation 5 specifications:
Playstation 5 is a next-generation console like the Xbox series X or S and is launching on November 12 in the USA, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea with the rest of the world getting the new console on November 19th.
First, let’s talk about its hardware:
The Playstation 5 hardware is one of the most stylish consoles. It has two models, one digital edition and another simple edition. The difference between the two is, PS5 digital edition does not have a CD drive so you’ll have to purchase a game online. You cannot insert any CD in it and simple PS5, you can purchase it online and buy a game CD from a store.
Moving on to PS5 software:
Speed:
Sony has opted for a custom AMD RDNA 2-based GPU inside the PS5, which provides 10.28 teraflops of power with 36 compute units running at 2.23GHz each. The Playstation 5 console has a lightning-fast load speed with ultra-high-speed SSD and a 3D audio.
Backward compatibility:
Playstation 5 has backward compatibility which means you can all play all the games of PS4 if you have the CDs of any PlayStation game. Insert the CDs into your PS5 console and let the game begin!
Also, if you have the PS5 digital edition, you can upgrade your CDs into digital games or if you have digital codes for downloading the game you can download it by inserting the code in ps5.
PlayStation VR:
Now, the biggest question: Will the PSVR work on PS5?
Well, the answer is “yes”
Sony has confirmed that the PSVR will work on PS5. All you want is, the PS5 or PS4 and a camera adapter to play all your favorite PSVR games on PS5.

Controller:
The controller of PS5 is comparatively smarter than the previous PS controllers. It allows you to share your gameplay at any place by pressing the share button. You can resume/play any game just by pressing the ps button. The controller has an adaptive trigger that works very well for shooting games.
