The Rafale fighter jet is going to be the most powerful fighter aircraft in INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF).
Rafale jet is faster as well as more capable for wider range aims compared to
SU 30 MKI, which is currently the best aircraft in INDIAN AIR FORCE.
A French company named Dassault Aviation designed and manufactured this- two engines powered, delta wings, multirole fighter aircraft “ RAFALE “
Here’s what you need to know about RAFALE :-
Attacking power:-
This powerful aircraft has a top speed of 1389 km/hr and is equipped by the laser-guided bombs. It can fire through its internal cannon. Furthermore, Rafale jets shall be equipped with HAMMER missile having the range of 60-70 km, capable of firing METEORS like missile beyond visual range.
It is capable of carrying six AASM missiles at a time and each missile is equipped with GPS and infrared terminal guidance. It can fire all the missiles accurately of 10 meters
On the ground level, it can even take up to 8 targets at a time.
According to sources - SCALP missiles can take out on-ground targets up to 300 kilometers
“Buddy – Buddy “ refueling system can help rafale jets lending each other fuels even in the middle of combat.
Rafale customized for IAF -
It has the ability to land on higher altitudes areas like Leh airbase. It can engage enemy fighters from a particular without getting trapped using multidimensional radar system with defense missiles which can be helpful in the air as well as ground combats
Beyond visual range system, it ensures that our pilots won't have to cross the borders to take down the targets.
